J. Donald Etz
President
I was born and raised in the Central Virginia area. I graduated from Benedictine High School and then Randolph-Macon College with a degree in Economics and Business. I have always enjoyed playing and coaching sports. After playing football through high school and college, I switched over to coaching a variety of sports for my four children. I continue to coach football for James River High School and play Men’s Softball. I have been active in a number of organizations over the years including the Chesterfield Jaycees (Life Member Award), the James River High School Athletic Boosters, and the Midlothian Rotary. I also enjoy reading, exercising daily, and traveling. I am also proud of my two recent grandchildren and the prospects of watching then grow up. I especially enjoy the daily interaction with all of my customers!

Originally from Staunton, I moved to the Richmond area in the Late 90's and started working for Carter Ellis Insurance Agency in 1999. I live in Midlothian with my Husband and in my spare time enjoy going to Estate Sales and Auctions, Reading and Working on Crafts.

William D. Quaiff
Vice President
I started my Insurance career as an agent with Metropolitan Life insurance in 1971. In 1984 I started Quaiff Insurance Agency for life and health insurance clients and became a Property and Causality broker with Carter Ellis Insurance Agency. Today I live in Chesterfield County with my wife Lois where my family has resided since 1918. We are proud of our daughter, son in-law and two granddaughters who are a big part of our lives. I serve as vice chairman on the Board of Trustees for Beulah United Methodist Church which I’ve been a member of for 55 years. I also serve on the advisory board for Hunters for the Hungry, charity organization and am the Executive Director for the Virginia Deer Hunters Association and senior editor of Whitetail Times, the organization’s official publication. I am so thankful for the encouragement of family, friends, clients and business associates which have been my mainstay throughout my career!

Personal Lines CSR
I have been a Personal Lines CSR with Etz Insurance Agency since 1995 and hold an ACSR designation. I live in Midlothian with my husband and son and have served on my neighborhood’s Board of Directors for the past four years. In my spare time, I enjoy working the Sunday morning newspaper crossword puzzle, knitting and being a couch potato.
Donna Jamison

My insurance experience dates back to PA in the late 80s when I worked for the agency my family used. Fast forward through college and a Masters Degree in Education, teaching elementary and middle school and moving to VA, I rejoined the insurance industry 8 years ago when I began working for Etz Insurance Agency as a licensed Personal Lines CSR. I reside in Midlothian with my husband, son and daughter and our Boxer, Tackle. Outside of work, I enjoy running, playing tennis, going to the beach, hanging with my family and socializing with friends.
Bridget Penzer
Commercial Lines CSR
I started working for Ellis Insurance Agency in 1989. After 10 years I chose to stay at home and raise my 3 daughters. Two years ago I decided to go back to work and was fortunate to be rehired by Ellis & Etz Insurance working as a CSR for commercial lines. I have been married for 30 years and in my spare time I enjoy reading and organizing family dinners.
Matthew Freeman
Producer/Financial Services
Matt is from Danville, VA and after high school Joined the United States Marine Corps. After his service was done, he attended Virginia Commonwealth University and graduated with a Business Degree in 2010. He has been working in finance and Insurance since 2011 and is licensed with his series 7, 6, 65, 63, Life Health & Annuities, and Property and Casualty license. Matt is married with two children and when he has time loves to travel, go camping, and mountain biking.
